wereinvadingeuropemyfriend asked: To be honest, Luciano is my favourite character, but that's simply because Luciano is my most idolised real life gangster of all time. I forsee both he and Meyer branching out and becoming main characters. As well as Richard, he's going to go on a warpath, I'd imagine? As for Gillian.. I don't even want to think what she'll do when she discovers her son/lover is gone. TOO. MUCH. EMOTION.

Agreed. Luciano is actually based on Lucky Luciano (Salvatore Luciano), a real life mobster from the same time. He started dealing heroin after the bootlegging wasn’t getting them any richer, so the show is getting mighty historically accurate. It’s the same kinda thing they’re doing with Al Capone, but I’m curious when they are gonna start getting Capone’s career moving?  Luciano is soo dreamy and I really think taking them for a bigger ride would be a great idea. UGH GILLIAN WHAT A NASTY HOE. Like, your son? YOUR SON?! IS NOTHING SACRED!? bleh. I had a little daydream where the show just speeds up to 10 years from now and Jimmy’s son is running the town. But that’s never gonna happen. Le siiigh, I really have no idea in what direction they’ll take it. How do you get rid of Jimmy like that? It honestly irks me.
